Born from an obsession with detail

It all started in a mini-league between friends. Two enthusiasts — a data scientist and an engineer — spent hours every Friday night in spreadsheets, pasting stats, computing fixture difficulty and arguing over who to captain.

At some point the question became inevitable: what if a model could do all of this, better and in seconds? That's how the first expected-points (xP) prediction prototype was born, trained on years of FPL data.

That spreadsheet became an optimization engine that builds the perfect lineup, plans transfers across multiple gameweeks and picks the ideal moment for every chip. The results in our league spoke for themselves — so we decided to make it available to everyone.
